Problem
Finding and connecting with a band or musician that plays their own music is extremely difficult, and so is maintaining continued, long-term contact with them. The target audience needs to be narrowed down. Would the outreach efforts be directed more towards the musicians, or the event planners? Project started as a communication platform for event planners to musicians, and also between musicians. When the focus was narrowed down, it was decided the app would be intended just to facilitate connections between planners and musicians (and vice versa). The app also served as a platform to showcase these bands for potential event planners,
Findings
Creating an event that correlated with the app. The direction started with a battle of the bands and ended up with just a showcasing show to not have any negative implications to the losing bands.
