Problem
This project focused on creating a fictional app that could be applied and would be helpful in “real world” situations and scenarios. The target audience is bicycle-owners who want to learn about bike maintenance, complete their own bike repairs, and who would like to save money completing said repairs as opposed to paying an invoice at a repair shop. We also prioritized ensuring that the resource files provided in the app were small enough to be used offline
Findings
The app needed an offline ability for off-road biking in no service locations. The app navigation needed to be clear and easy to find quick and simple fixes, repairs, and solutions.
The result
The a provides information and resources to explore easy, cost-effective ways to fine tune a bicycle, as well as and step-by-step instructions regarding bike repairs. The app included short videos and written directions. The app is capable of being used offline.
